Y.A.M. Tengku Sulaiman Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, is a Royal from the reigning monarch of Selangor. His Highness is the second son to the late HRH Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah ( 8th Sultan of Selangor and the 11th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia) and the grandson of the late HRH Sultan Hisamuddin Alam Shah (6th Sultan of Selangor and the 2nd Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia).

Y.A.M. Tengku Sulaiman Shah has a prominent presence in the Royal Court of Selangor. His Highness was appointed Chief of Ceremony for the State of Selangor by his late father HRH Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah in 1978, carrying the title “Y.A.M. Tengku Panglima DiRaja Selangor”. Y.A.M. Tengku Sulaiman Shah is also a member of The Council of the Royal Court of Selangor (Dewan DiRaja). His Highness was appointed Tengku Laksamana of Selangor by his brother, HRH Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in 2016.

Y.A.M. Tengku Sulaiman Shah also possess vast experience in the corporate world, both locally and internationally. With over five decades of active participation in the business world, Y.A.M. Tengku Sulaiman Shah has founded and served as a director in multiple companies. His Highness has been recognized for his business acumen and leadership, having been appointed by the Malaysia Ministry of International Trade and Industry as the Chairman of the Malaysia-UAE Business Council in 2013.

His Highness rich corporate background began back in 1974 when His Highness co-founded Syarikat Pembinaan Setia Sdn Bhd, which is now a public company listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Currently, His Highness serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at W T K Holdings Bhd, in which His Highness also chairs the Remuneration Committee and serves as a member of the Nomination Committee of the same company. In addition, His Highness is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Hock Heng Stone Industries Bhd and a Director of LLC Berhad.

His Highness has also served as a director in the past for a number of other notable companies, including Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad, MCB Holdings Berhad, SIME UEP Properties Berhad, Bina Goodyear Berhad, Baneng Holdings Berhad, KFC Holdings (Malaysia) Berhad and QSR Brands Berhad.
